I don’t just counsel—I transform lives. For over two decades, I’ve walked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, seekers of truth, and women of faith—guiding them from pain into purpose.
As a Doctor of Biblical Psychology, licensed Christian therapist, and founder of Karen Doughty Transformation, I bring together biblical truth and evidence-based tools to reach the root, not just the surface, of what’s been holding you back.
My mission is simple: Empowering Change. Transforming Lives.
This isn’t quick-fix work. This is root work—where cycles are broken, lies are replaced with truth, and lasting transformation takes place.

I’m Dr. Karen Doughty, a Licensed Christian Therapist, Biblical Psychologist, and the heart behind this movement. My journey is rooted in one unshakable truth: transformation is possible—no matter how deep the wound.
It is with great sincerity and urgency that I introduce myself, my cause, and my motivation for being here. I AM KAREN DOUGHTY, a CHAMPION for survivors of child sexual abuse; MOTIVATED by 'the joy I felt' when I overcame the harsh reality of being perpetrated upon.
At the tender age of 4, I had fallen prey to child sexual abuse. Although I walked away from it seemingly unaffected, there were other instances that left an imprint on my soul. These marks carried into adulthood, creating rippling effects. But today, my story is one of victory and hope. 'Divine Intervention' gripped me in response to my heartfelt declaration: 'I want to be whole!' Shortly thereafter, I was led through a paradigm shift that transformed my life—taking me from misery to ministry. For this reason, I am wholly devoted to the will of God.

I am committed to guiding others through the process of transformation—especially those who, like me, have carried the heavy weight of childhood sexual abuse for far too long.
For years, I suffered at the hands of multiple perpetrators. It was the darkest chapter of my life. But when the time came, I chose to carve a new path—one leading toward healing, wholeness, and hope. My recovery came in stages, each one requiring courage, perseverance, and faith.
Today, my zest for life is undeniable. I know what it means to create new memories, to step into destiny, and to walk in freedom.
